Mari Windsor Pilates, can also be done in the comfort of your home and is suitable for both beginners and more advanced followers. One of the exercises deals with flexing of the spine and this is quite important especially if you spend a great deal of time behind the computer, the television or even driving. Although primarily concentrating on the spine and its flexibility, your shoulders and hips are also included in the movement.
Mari Winsor also concentrated on the breathing aspect of exercising, particularly diaphragmatic breathing. This may sound difficult at first but once you pratice and grow accustomed to it, you'll find it becomes second nature.
