Well, the good news is, you no longer need to do so. Pilates abs exercises are not merely easy to perform, but also enjoyable as they do not hurt or put your back at risk when carried out correctly. <p><strong>What is Pilates?</strong></p>
<p>Pilates is an exercise system system invented by the German, Joseph Pilates,Â  during The first world war. This fitness method was developed in order to help sick people who were bedridden and therefore,Â  was focused on low impact exercising with high results.</p>
<p>Pilates does not require any weights in order to be done. but you do need loose fitting exercise clothes. This is important as a lot of stretching is involved in Pilates and you need to be able to move without resitriction. So, it requires that your clothes are not tight in order for them to not be uncomfortable. Bare feet are best when practicing Pilates but you may wear trainers should you not be comfortable with bare feet. You will also need a Pilates mat in order to get going practicing today.</p>

Workign with your 'core' muscles allows you to control the tone and shape of the rest of your body. A Pilates abs workout is part of every single workout you practice since Pilates works with the â€˜coreâ€™ and that always engages the abs.Â  However, there are specific Pilates abs exercises as well.</p>
